It has always been a dream of mine to have my music played during the coverage of the Olympic Games. This year that came true. One of my fanfares was used by NBC in two different promos leading from commercial break back into their coverage from the arena during the Opening Ceremony in Rio.

 

One of the promos announced that the Opening Ceremony could be watched in 4k Ultra HD this year. The second promo made an announcement regarding the Olympic Games Virtual Reality Experience.

The piece used is a Fanfare called "Victory Parade" which I co-wrote with Stephen Goforth.
